GO Designs infused this Far East El Paso backyard with a warm serenity that blooms brightest at dusk. Framed by a rugged stone wall and softened by dense native planting, the space balances structure and softness in equal measure. A rich cedar pergola anchors the main patio, its heavy timbers strung with Edison bulbs that cast a honeyed glow after sunset. Beneath, polished concrete paving glistens with texture—its rain-darkened surface echoing the high desert’s fleeting storms.
Curved walkways ribbon out across the lawn, flanked by crushed gravel beds and cool-toned cobble drains that double as sculptural details and smart drainage. Lighting design plays a quiet but commanding role here. Low-voltage path lights flicker along the edges like campfire embers, leading past mulched beds flush with aromatic rosemary, salvia, and native groundcover.
